Hollywood, FL, October 21, 2003: Current and prospective owners
of condominiums in Hollywood Beach's newest
development can now view up-to-the-minute
construction progress via the Internet.
Scott
Roth, Vice President of Ocean Palms LLC,
had the idea to install the webcam. "Ocean Palms is pleased
to utilize this emerging technology to be
able to allow our future residents to watch
the construction progess of their new home
from any place at any time," said Roth.
Mounted on the roof of the
Alexander Condominium, which stands next
door to the Ocean Palms site, the camera
sends a signal via wireless transmitter to
the Ocean Palms office across the street.
A new picture is automatically uploaded to
the internet every five minutes.
VisionBurst installed the camera, maintains
the software, and hosts the image stream,
which appears below:
"It is a thrill for us to be involved
with Ocean Palms," said Avi Frier, President
of VisionBurst, Inc. "As Hollywood continues
to attract new development, it gives us great
pleasure to service the marketing needs of
these ventures.
"This webcam is symbolic of the watchful
eye South Florida's business community has
had on Hollywood for years," Frier added. "It
screams right out at you, 'don't blink--
here we grow again!'"

VisionBurst President Avi Frier (otherwise deathly afraid of heights) poses
next to the newly installed webcam.

The wireless transmitter sends a signal from the roof of the neighboring Alexander
Condominium to the Ocean Palms sales office across the street, where a new
picture is uploaded to the web every five minutes.
