VisionBurst Launches
Web Site for Nationally Syndicated Columnist
Hollywood, FL, December 18, 2002: Hollywood-based
web and graphic design firm VisionBurst,
Inc., (www.visionburst.com) has launched LightingTheFuse.com,
a web site created for Michael S. Miller,
author of Lighting The Fuse, a weekly
column that appears in the South Florida
Business Journal and over 40 other papers
nationwide. Michael is also the Editor of
the Toledo City Paper, a weekly alternative
newspaper that covers news and entertainment
in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
The site provides an interface which enables
Miller to upload his own articles, create
categories for each, and to edit and delete
text, all without any web design knowledge
or experience, and without needing to pay
a professional every time changes are needed.
A "non-techie",
Miller was at first hesitant to embark
on a project that would require him to
maintain his own site.
"I have never worked on a Web site
before," comments Miller, "but
VisionBurst¹s design and implementation
have converted me into believing I¹ve
made a mistake by waiting this long to open
a site. The administrative pages are simple
and
trouble-free, and graphics uploads are quick
and easy."
As for the benefits,
they are clear to Miller. "[The
site] allows me to reach readers all over
the world. I sell more books and garner more
feedback through the site than through any
individual newspaper."
And his readers agree.
One reader wrote to Michael, "Nice job with the site.
Very easy to navigate and glad to see you
have a repository for the legions of fans." Another
fan commented, "Love it. Professional
look. Easy to navigate." Still another
wrote, "I'm Impressed! Great Site with
lots of appeal!"
