Marketing Guru Turns Guerrilla
Frier joins elite group of certified Guerrilla Marketing Coaches
Hollywood, FL, May 19, 2004: Avi Frier, President of VisionBurst, a Hollywood-based design and marketing firm, has successfully completed a rigorous certification course and been certified as a Guerrilla Marketing Coach (GMC).
Based on the best selling marketing book series developed by Jay Conrad Levinson, Guerrilla Marketing focuses on low cost, high impact marketing and affordable business tools for small business. Frier joins an elite group of fewer than 100 certified Guerrilla Marketing Coaches in North America (with only three in Florida).
"The GMC program builds on the marketing skills Avi already practices while adding coaching strategies and additional proven techniques to become an even more effective marketer and marketing coach," said Mitch Meyerson, Founder of the Guerrilla Marketing Coach program, which he developed under the direction of Jay Conrad Levinson, the father of Guerrilla Marketing. "With his creative thinking and out-of-the-box approach, Avi is a natural guerrilla marketer."
Meyerson and GMC co-leader Al Lautenslager said an excellent marketing coach must be able to "walk their talk."
"As part of the certification process, Avi was required to show that he can develop a Guerrilla Marketing attack for any business by first creating one for his own," Lautenslager said. "This included writing and implementing his own marketing plan, developing fusion marketing partners and applying the GM principles that he learned to coach his own clients.”
Frier said he was impressed with the course content, the expertise of the instructors, and the caliber of his classmates from around the world.
"This was an incredible experience," Frier said. "With this course and certification, I have added to my toolbox methods and insights designed to coach business owners in breaking through the barriers that are preventing them from achieving the success they seek. There are over 100 strategies a small business can implement in its marketing program, and many of them are free."
